THE GREAT PYRENEAN ADVENTURE
The tour consists of two full days of adventure. You will do two activities full of fun and excitement: rafting on the River Noguera Palleresa on the first day and a canyoning descent of the Barranc de l’Infern on the second. Between one activity and the other, you will spend the night in a mountain camp set up specially for the group to sleep at a beautiful, isolated, little-known spot in Pallars. The camp, equipped with all the comforts and conveniences you need, has a great human team: the cook, who will prepare dinner with a local flavour, and an accompanying guide, who will make sure your stay is a unique, unforgettable experience.
Itinerary / day by day.
DAY 1
9am Meet in Sort and explanation giving all the necessary indications about the two days of adventure.
The group is equipped and transferred to Llavorsí. All-day rafting descent of the River Noguera Pallaresa, from the north of the county, with mountain landscape, to the Collegats gorge. You will float along exciting white water stretches with many powerful rapids, and stretches of peaceful water, where you will enjoy the landscape.
Lunch stop half way along the route.
Descent to Collegats, completing the approximately 40km route.
4pm Once back on dry land, change of equipment for a 1-hour walk.
Arrival at the mountain camp in time for a cool beer or soft drink in an idyllic area surrounded by nature but equipped with all kinds of details.
A full expedition dinner will await the group, consisting of a tasting of local products.
Accommodation under the stars.
DAY 2
8am Breakfast in the camp.
The group is equipped to go into the Barranc de l'Infern, an impressive descent with a water-filled gorge where the river has modelled the rocks into thousands different shapes. Waterfalls, pools, and abseiling await you before you reach the confluence with the Noguera Pallaresa.
2pm Transfer to Sort - end of the activity.
