KAYAKING SCHOOL
Whether you are already a paddler or whether you want to get started in this thrilling sport, you may improve your technique much faster taking our custom-made classes, totally adapted to your level. La Rafting Company kayaking school brings to you the top professionals and the best infrastructures in the country so you can learn and improve in the techniques and skills that will let you run white waters fully safe and autonomously.
From what we call a “baptism” -as they do in the sea¬-, an introductory course in kayaking at the flat water canal, to a technical course in alpine kayaking, as well as specific classes on safety and self rescue -such as Eskimo rolling¬ may be-, all of them will be dealt with the maximum responsibility and seriousness, always trying to make the most of time on the benefit of the pupil’s progress.
We organise all types of classes and custom-made courses, in two-hour sessions, with a small number of people, and providing all the top quality equipment of well-known, reliable, brands; and, of course, instructors who have a wide ranging paddling experience in white water rivers all over the world.

Baptism
A first contact with kayaking, for those who have never tried this exciting sport, where the equipment and materials are introduced, together with the basic technical skills and a first go in flat water; thought for those whose curiosity has been aroused but have never dared to try.
Kayaking Beginner
Take your first steps to become a successful proficient paddler. Advance quickly combining both the theoretical aspects with the practical training in the perfect place and the ideal water flow. Our instructors will take care of planning your personalized classes adapting them to your specific needs, always making the most of the time you invest.
Advanced Kayaking
With some clearly understood technical skills, you may need to have the practice and further experience in running the different river sections, training in the slalom course and playing around while surfing the waves. Those are skills that will let you take in the previously acquired knowledge and make your moves more automatic. We will practice in different white water areas along the more than 50 navigable kilometres in the river La Noguera Pallaresa. The descents will be totally adapted to your skills and needs.
Thematic Courses
All through the season, we organise several monographic courses focussing on the different requirements that a good paddle must know: eskimo Rolling Technique, introductory Course on Alpine Kayaking, safety and Self Rescue for White Water Paddlers.
Guiding and Outings
A custom-made service, an instructor à la carte; whether it is individually or in a group, most of the times, what makes us feel safe and enjoy an undisturbed river descent, at ease, is having an expert paddler among us.
Trips, Getaways and Expeditions
The Pyrenees in the region of Aragon, the south of France, Morocco, Slovenia or The Alps are the usual destinations for friends of La Rafting Company. Please, check our calendar to learn more about our next season.
What do you need?
A swimming costume, a towel, a good attitude to enjoy yourself and not being afraid of an occasional swim. About the rest, we will take care of it all.
The boat, the paddle, as well as all the necessary equipment to go kayaking (neoprene socks or booties, wetsuit, paddling jacket, life vest and helmet) we provide it in our base camp facilities. We have boats for beginners, riverrunning, freestyle, creek, etc.
